Chris Lowe’s hot cars sizzle at shows, but his joy is in their creation

Chris Lowe has always had a love for cars.
Moreover, Lowe has always seemed to enjoy tinkering with cars, too, though he’s the first to say that he’s not necessarily a mechanic. Much of what he does involves modifying older cars that he likes, turning them into something no one has seen before.
He admits that most of what he does is “trial and error.” And sometimes it’s mostly error.
“When I was 14 or 15 I bought a Chevy Vaga and was going to put a V8 in it,” he said. “It didn’t work out too well so I traded it for a ’67 Nova that was already put together and I drove that in high school.”
Lowe is the owner and operator of Branham Heating, so much of his time is devoted to installing or repairing furnaces and air conditioners.
