The museum’s curator, Jim R. Osborne, hopes the move from a 3-acre site on Bruceville Road to a 14-acre site at Willow and Sixth streets will be complete later this month. But there is still a lot of work to do.
“Barring any unforeseen delays, we hope to have it open again by the end of July,” Osborne said.
The Indiana Military Museum promises to be bigger and better, if only because there is more room for displays. Visitors will find many new exhibits, Osborne said, on all aspects of the American military and the various wars and conflicts with which it has been involved.
