Good Samaritan Hospice is about faith, hope and love. The Good Samaritan Hospice staff and volunteers have a deep respect for the dignity of each patient and their family in the midst of end-of-life care. The hospice philosophy is about hope in living and hope in dying.
Good Samaritan Hospice offers a multi-disciplinary approach to comfort and support services. The wide range of care consists of medical and nursing care, home health services, dietary counseling, social work, spiritual and bereavement support and multi-faceted volunteer program. Both professional staff and volunteers receive continuing education and training in hospice education.
Joseph Sanneman, a volunteer coordinator for Good Samaritan Hospice, said, “Hospice is just as much about living as dying.”
